The Royale Hall
Our flagship room. The natural choice for Yini Wol and Walima — soaring ceilings, seating for 250+ on the trami, ready for the head Waza's grand Goshtaba moment.

Grand Hall (First Floor)
On our first floor — lighter in mood and gentler in scale than the Royale below. Ideal for the Maenzraat night, the engagement, or the Phiri Saal lunch with the bride's side.

The Open Garden (tent)
The Open Garden (tent)
An open garden with custom shamiana setup — the baraat arrival, the mehndi morning under sunlight, an outdoor reception when the Valley weather agrees. Bookable on its own or alongside the halls.
What you get with us
The small things that quietly hold a Kashmiri wedding together — from the bride’s quiet suite, through the trami service, all the way to the kahwa close.
Floral mandap, pheran-friendly staging, soft tilla-toned lighting — set the room so the bride's gold thread is the first thing every guest notices.
A full 36-trami feast — Tabak Maaz, Rista, Rogan Josh, Yakhni, Goshtaba — plated by our in-house Wazas, or coordinated with the Waza your family has trusted for years.
4–5 well-appointed rooms on-site for the bride, the dulha and family flying in from Delhi, the Gulf or beyond — rest without the commute back to Lal Chowk.
Near Srinagar International. Easy on the mausis arriving from Jeddah and London, and the relatives driving up from the Valley.
High ceilings, clean restrained palette, plenty of natural light — every angle does justice to the tilla pheran, the gold work, the kahwa pour.
See live availability and reserve Maenzraat, Nikah and Walima — together, online — without a single back-and-forth call.
The four chapters of a Kashmiri wedding
Maenzraat, Nikah, Yini Wol, Walima — brief our team once and let us run the trami service, the bridal suite, the family rooms, the kahwa close, the morning-after Phiri Saal. One booking. Three days. Zero scrambling.
See how we host each chapterI.
Maenzraat
Henna till dawn, wanwun sung in chorus, the bride in her first pheran. A long, joyful night the family will speak of for years.
II.
Nikah & Yini Wol
The Qazi, the witnesses, the rakaths — and then the trami: lunch for every cousin, every neighbour, every elder, all of them blessing the couple.
III.
Walima
The dulha's family's feast. The big Wazwan, the kahwa, the closing greetings — we hold the room while you hold court.
IV.
Engagements & Phiri Saal
The smaller, quieter days too — the engagement sit-down, the Phiri Saal lunch at the bride's side. Same care, gentler scale.
Kashmir destination wedding
For Kashmiri families abroad and for non-Kashmiri couples drawn to the chinar-gold autumns and tulip-bloom springs — we host destination weddings in the Valley with the local knowledge that makes the week run.

The Open Garden in autumn
For families based in Dubai, Jeddah, London, Toronto or the GCC who want to bring the wedding home to the Valley — we coordinate around international arrival windows, jet-lag schedules and longer family stays.
A short drive from Srinagar International. Guests fly in on the morning flight from Delhi or Dubai and are at the trami the same afternoon — no Dal Lake traffic, no cross-city dash.
Hall hire + bridal suite + family rooms on one bill, so the wedding party doesn't scatter across five hotels. Pair us with nearby boutique stays for the wider guest list — we keep a curated shortlist.
May through October is Kashmir's wedding season. Tulip-bloom April and chinar-gold October are the most-loved windows. We open these dates 9–12 months ahead — and they fill in weeks.
Pre-wedding shoots at Nishat Bagh, sunset shikara rides for the cousins, a side-trip to Pahalgam for the just-marrieds. We connect you with the photographers, shikara-walas and tour operators who do this well.
A growing share of our enquiries are couples from Mumbai, Bangalore and overseas who want a Kashmir destination wedding. We adapt — Wazwan or non-Wazwan menus, Hindu/Muslim/Sikh rituals, mixed-religion ceremonies, all accommodated.

Garden tent
Not only weddings
Wanwun is built around the Kashmiri wedding — and adapts cleanly to the corporate offsite, the milestone birthday, the welcome dinner. Same restraint, different brief.
Annual meets, partner conferences, product launches, training residentials. AV-ready setup, projector and screen, generator backup, breakaway rooms.
Milestone birthdays, golden anniversaries, intimate family gatherings. The Grand Hall in a soft cocktail layout, or the tent for a warmer evening.
Aqeeqah ceremonies, welcome-home dinners, graduation parties. Smaller crowds, tighter timelines — we move quickly.
The Grand Hall at a relaxed scale. Mehendi morning, sit-down engagement lunch, intimate close-family dinners.
Hold your dates
Bookings open from June 2026 onwards. Enquire today and we’ll hold tentative dates for 48 hours while the family decides.
Questions, answered
Yes — that is what Wanwun is built for. Most families book both halls and the rooms across two or three days: Maenzraat one evening, Nikah and Yini Wol the next afternoon, Walima the day after. We hold one venue, one team, one continuous setup, so you are not loading family into cars between every function.
Whichever you prefer. Our in-house Wazas serve a full 36-trami Wazwan — Tabak Maaz, Rista, Rogan Josh, Aab Gosh, Methi Maaz, Yakhni, Goshtaba — finished with kahwa from the samovar. If your family has worked with a Waza for generations, we will give him our pantry, prep area and service team and step into a coordination role.
We have a landscaped outdoor area adjacent to the halls. It can be set up with a custom shamiana for the baraat arrival, a daylight mehndi morning, or an outdoor cocktail reception when the Valley weather permits. It can be booked standalone or alongside either hall.
Each of our two halls seats 250+ guests in the traditional trami-of-four arrangement, and considerably more in a buffet or cocktail layout. Book both halls together for Yini Wol or Walima counts of 500+, or add the Open Garden for 750+.
We have 4–5 well-appointed rooms on-site. One is set aside as the bride's suite — for the pheran change, the henna touch-ups, a moment of quiet — and the others for the dulha, the immediate family, and out-of-town relatives who have travelled in for the day.
Bookings for our 2026 season open from June 2026 onwards. The most-requested dates (Tulip-bloom April, chinar-gold October, and the post-monsoon Shaadi months) fill fastest — please enquire 6–9 months ahead for those.
A short drive. We are a natural choice when a meaningful share of the baraat is flying in from Delhi, Dubai, Jeddah, or the UK — your guests can land, freshen up and be at the trami without crossing the city.
